Thank you for visiting myebca.com.

The highest compliment our parents can give is  the referral of their friends and family.
Thank you for your trust in us to educate your children, I have the best job in the world and proud of all our accomplishment at EBCA.
We pride ourselves in not waiting for change to happen to us but rather to lead the change for the sake of our students.

Edison Bethune Charter Academy is currently a TK through 6th grade school serving over 550 students with a waiting list for classes and before and after school programs.   It is the proud Home of the Wildcats.  We take pride in our 808 API as posted on the California Department of Education webpage.  Our API ranks up there as one of the best schools in Fresno and Clovis.  Wildcat pride is alive and well on our campus.

As an independent charter, we have been sponsored by Fresno County Office of Education since 1999.  We are not a Fresno Unified School.   We are our own Local Education Agency (LEA) with our own 7 member Board.  We offer a rigorous common core curriculum balanced with Music, Art, and Physical Education. We strive to academically prepare our students with a world class education so they can go out and compete globally.

As the Executive Director/ Principal of this outstanding charter, I bring 30 years of experience in the education field.  I was an elementary teacher for 10 years before becoming a school administrator.  I have enjoyed 20 years as an administrator.  I have been very fortunate to serve at the Elementary, Middle School, and High School level prior to coming to EBCA.  My tenure here at EBCA has been rewarding.  Currently, I am in my fifth year here in what I believe is the best school in Fresno.

My philosophy is simple.  I believe every child should be given equal access to a world class education.
I try to teach students my simple" High Five Expectation": 1. Be safe, 2. Be Respectful, 3. Be Responsible, 4. Be in school, 5. Be on time.   My commitment is to make sure every child is given the opportunity to be a Bethune scholar.  For this to be a reality, I count on the partnership of staff and parents.

If you are looking for a great place to send your child or grandchildren, look no further Edison Bethune Charter Academy is the right place.  Thank you for all your support.
